Dry weather this evening and tonight, under skies with many high-level clouds and in an atmosphere permeated by Saharan sand.
On Tuesday, conditions are likely to be mild and bright in the morning, despite the presence of numerous high-level clouds and a bonus of reduced sunshine due to the presence of Saharan sand in the atmosphere. The skies became more changeable and uncertain in the afternoon. From the south, cloudy conditions over the main ridge of the Alps and in the Simplon region, with a few showers or light precipitation. Mild from the föhn.
Temperatures forecast for the Rhône plain: lows 9° to 11°, highs 20° to 23°. In stations around 1500m: lows 5 to 6°, highs 11 to 13°. On the summits: 4/8° at 2000m, -3/0° at 3000m. Isotherm of 0°: 2900 m.
Gusts of föhn in the Upper Valais and the Evionnaz region, and possibly also in the Chablais. Strong southerly wind in the high mountains (peak winds sometimes exceeding 65 km/h at around 2500m).

Next few days in Valais
On Wednesday, the weather will be changeable to cloudy and partly sunny in the lowland areas during the day. From the south, cloudy skies and frequent precipitation over the main ridge of the Alps and in the Simplon region. Mild from the föhn.

Friday: continuation of mediocre, cloudy weather, but risk of showers diminishing as the day progresses. Conditions will remain cool, with maximum temperatures probably below 15°.
For the weekend, there will be an interlude of milder weather on Saturday despite cloudy spells which may be dense in the afternoon, heralding the passage of a new disturbance on Sunday, which will bring some rain to all areas. Highs 16° to 17°. To be confirmed.
